Receiving messages is easy



If you or a friend cannot seem to receive messages, follow the steps below.

Visit the FAQ for more troubleshooting information.

Follow these steps to ensure you get pinged!


  1. 1)Make sure you have notifications in your device settings turned ON. 












  1. 2)Try Airplane mode trick (iPhones only)

Enable Airplane mode in iPhone Settings for at least 10 seconds and then disable.








Your network will be refreshed and the connection to APNS (Apple Push Notification Service) will be reinitialized.



  1. 3)Test cell network (iPhones only)

Turn OFF WiFi.  While on the cell network, test other push apps to see if you can receive push notifications.  If you are having problems with your cell network, email support.  If push is working on the cell network, proceed to 4).



  1. 4)Test internet

Make sure that you can browse the internet and your internet connection is stable.  Push relies on your internet connection.



5) Check WiFi port

Make sure your WiFi does not block PORT 5223, check your firewall.  Consult your network administrator.  More networking details on Apple's Support Page.



  1. 6)Change DNS settings [To be used only if all previous steps did not resolve the issue.]

Go to your device’s Settings>WiFi


Tap the arrow of the network that is selected so that you can view details of that network.


Scroll down to DNS [Note: You may want to write down your current DNS or take a screenshot for your reference.]


Change the DNS to 194.150.168.168
